Heineken Jammin Festival: rock shakes Milan in July

The rock music will shake Milan from the 5 until the 7 of July in occasion of the Heineken Jammin Festival in the setting of Rho-Fiera and they expect between 70.000 and 80.000 people: a breach of the rules for the formal and elegant city. The big singers of the 2012 edition will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers (performing on Thursday 5), The Prodigy (Friday 6) and The Cure for the grand final (Saturday 7). Beside these main exhibitions the list of the participating band is of first class Noel Gallagher’s High Fliying birds, Pitbull, Enter Shihari, the Evanescence, Chase and status, Lostpropgets, Seether, Crystal Castels, Gorillaz Sound System. The Hotel Sanpi Milano and the Hotel Mediolanum, which are part of the international hotel chain Worldhotels, will be glad to have you as our guests: the 4 stars hotels are located in the city centre and they propose some special offers during this event.

 

The location choice is fresh but not casual since the available area corresponds to 11 stadiums, it offers 17 thousand parking lots and a direct subway link: the goal is to find a valid alternative to the classical San Siro stadium in fact, during summer season, the exhibition centre is unused. Due to the exceptionality of the event the Commune, in cooperation with the ATM, will empower the public transports extending the subway schedule until the 1 of the night on Thursday, and until 2 o’clock for the remaining 2 days.

 

The organization has foreseen an ideal formula to fight the exhaustion caused by the high temperature: an igloo will be placed with a temperature of minus eight centigrade, a lounge area with large pillows in the shadow and refreshment stands to drink.

The Festival will host spaces for sport and for personal treatments: five basketball fields, two volley fields, one hairdresser to get an extravagant hairstyle and one body painting stand.
